Kino Amusements Arcade Walton

Kino amusements is a family-run arcade that is ideally located opposite the beach on Prince’s esplanade at the seafront in Walton. Intersecting the end of the main town High Street, there are plenty of local pubs and food vendors in this area along with some beachside kiosks selling ice cream and other holiday treats. Along the promenade are many parking spaces, which are free (with time limit) so a perfect destination for an afternoon visit. 

Arcade Fun

The outside of the venue is welcoming, with a selection of kiddie rides positioned at the front to attract passing visitors. There are also several claw machines available, all priced at just 20 pence per play, offering excellent value for money and making them an affordable option for younger players and families. 

Upon entering the arcade, one Is greeted with a large open plan venue chock full of a broad range of different machines. The layout is straight-forward with family games and ticket machines at the front with the adult casino area at the rear. 

The signage states that the arcade is open in the daytime until the early evenings and the slots lounge area opens later via a side entrance.

Coin Pushers

At the front of the venue is a great selection of themed coin pushers, including Beach Ball, Butterfly, Princes & Princesses and Rubber Ducks. These modern pusher machines feature the 'Big Ticket' system, which records all tickets won during play. Instead of dispensing long reels of paper tickets, players simply press a button on top of the machine when they have finished playing, and a small coupon-style ticket is printed with a barcode and their total ticket balance. Super convenient and keeps your pockets from bulging with tickets.

The coin pushers also had some fun shelf prizes including little yellow rubber duckies, keychains and other toys. The prize shop / redemption corner is located just before the adult gaming area and is stocked full of great prizes including sweets & lollies, boardgames and giant branded plush toys such as Mario and Groot.

Claw Machines

There is a nice range of crane claw machines here including classic full-size machines like EX-1s and E-claw.  At the time of visiting most of the claw machines were just twenty pence per play! Prizes included branded plush toys including Deadpool. Pokémon, Winnie the Pooh and Wolverine. They also have a range of 'Around the World' Animals including Penguins, Tigers, Elephants, Giraffes - all up for grabs!

They also have smaller grabbers designed for children being closer to the ground. These included Toy Box Catcher and Toy Town machines, perfect for small hands. In keeping with the modern theme was a Win Fall Revolution was offering keychains and collectable Pokémon trading cards.

Fairground Games

Kino amusements has a great range of the latest fairground arcade games where an element of skill can help gain big ticket wins. Games include a two-player Lane Master and Monopoly Roll-n-Go. There is a 'Game On' basketball arcade game where you can win tickets and also a ‘Shoot It Win It arcade shooting game from Sega, where you can win prizes shooting all the targets down. They also have a three-player Dinosaur Era game where you shoot to win tickets and also a Tornado Coin Stacker. 

Ticket Slot Machines

There is a Doctor Franky’s triple ticket slot machine nearer the front of the venue. These types of ticket paying slot machines could also be classed as 'ticket fruit machines' as they are mechanical and have hold/nudges buttons. Often these ticket slots can be more generous in terms of wins than a traditional fruit machine. 

£5 Jackpot Fruit Machines

There are £5 jackpot fruit machines are dotted around the adult gaming section. They have a Rainbow Riches (blue) triple and a Golden Winner triple. We also noted the classic standalone Spotted Dick £5 jackpot fruit machine. 

There is also a Skill ball Zingy machine in the main arcade with a £50 jackpot!

Slots Lounge

Venue Verdict

Kino Amusements is an ideal venue to visit as part of a day trip to Walton. With plenty of free parking available nearby at this end of the promenade, the venue is ideally located for a quick visit while heading to or from the High Street. The atmosphere here is great and they have LEDs all around the venue to keep it bright and colourful.

With its convenient side entrance, the adult slots lounge is easily accessible for both visitors and locals, whether stopping by from one of the nearby pubs or staying in a local hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the venue also runs a weekly winners' promotion in the adult gaming area.

The ticket systems and the arcade machines are modern and convenient, perfect for many hours of fun. With a huge range of ticket prizes to suit youngsters of all shapes and sizes it makes the perfect venue for all the family to enjoy some good old-fashioned British seaside entertainment.
