Local Area
Gorleston-on-Sea, located just south of Great Yarmouth, is separated by the River Yare. The recent addition of the Herring Bridge has made traveling between the two seafronts easier than ever. While smaller than Great Yarmouth, Gorleston seafront has many charming attractions to explore and has one of the best beaches on the east coast of England.
Marine Amusements is a nice little amusement arcade located in the main tourist area on the lower cliff promenade at Gorleston beach. This area is also a car park with single entrance that can get very busy during peak times.
There is an ice cream shop, café and fish and chip shop plus a range of high-quality restaurants along the strip. There are further amenities on the Gorleston High Street, which is a short drive away with a range of national chain shops and even a Wetherspoons.
Arcade Attractions
On the outside of this arcade are some crane claw machines to attract children passing by. There are two open plan entrance ways so when it’s busy people can mingle and come in and out without queueing.

Coin Pushers
Here there are three separate coin pushers. One circular Roller Coaster themed coin pusher, one Scooby Doo coin pusher and a third circular coin pusher. All being of two pence denomination (tuppenny falls machines).

Arcade Machines
There are children’s cube style crane claw machines and also a Win Falls Revolution machine. If one includes the five crane claw grabbers outside then there are quite a few different prize options here for youngsters to choose from.
£5 Jackpot Fruit Machines
In the Marine Arcade there are few different £5 jackpot fruit machines including a standalone Clockwork Orange machine and two Bank Raid fruit machines and also a Bullion Bars triple. Flanking the Bullion Bars triple are also two of the older style Barcrest Rainbow Riches Craic-n-Fun machines with digital display. There is also a Zingy skill ball machine with a £50 jackpot.
Casino Slots Lounge
With the entire venue being fairly compact, the casino slots lounge takes up more than half of the venue, though it does have a fantastic range of gaming machines. There are £500 jackpots to be won, with an even mix of £25 and £100 jackpots also available to win.
There are rows of the latest digital casino slots from Blueprint Gaming, which include the latest games such as Midas King of Gold, Anubis Rising and Crabbin for Cash.
There are also a couple of triple row slot machines including a Batman Begins triple with £100 jackpot and also some retro mechanical Bar-X standalone fruit machines with £25 jackpots.
Venue Verdict
The venue is compact and simplistic, though still manages to have a balance between different machine types for it to be a solid arcade. It sees huge footfall in peak season, and it still manages to satisfy holiday makers and locals alike.
