Electric Avenue occupies a central location along the beach front Marine Parade at Southend-on-Sea. Neighboured by several bar and restaurant venues it stands tall opposite the Dinosaur Adventure Golf and the Pavilion Fish and Chips shop.
Above Electric Avenue is Kingpins Bowling Alley and there is an entrance to this from the rear of the amusement arcade and it also has its own dedicated entrance, which can be found on Lucy Road. The large Seaway carpark is located steps away so why not park up, explore the Kingpins bowl on your way to Electric Avenue. They have some truly great amenities such as virtual darts, fully immersive bowling and a licenced bar that is open late. There is also an outdoor seating area and a balcony with incredible views over Southend beach front.
Arcade Entrance
observing from Marine Parade, the arcade frontage is long and open plan with many wide entrances, perfect for those with disabilities or mobility challenges. On the forecourt there are some young kiddie rides and also claw grabber machines and a one punch boxing arcade machine to entice passersby.
Coin Pushers
There are coin pushers located throughout the venue and they even have them positioned out front close to the pavement. There is a good blend between modern coin pushers and classic seaside tuppenny falls style pushers.
Classic coin pusher machines include Strictly Dance, Toy Town, Princes & Princesses, Bingo and Rainbow Riches and Pac Man with most paying out ticket wins.
Modern coin pushes with ticket wins and upper feature board include Cops and Robbers (Cop the Loot), Temple of Tickets, Aladdin and Pharaohs Golden Ticket.
The two pence coins fall easily here and it is very easy to get big wins if you pick the right machine. The shelf prizes are generous and include prizes such as key rings, key chains, toys sweets and more.

Crane Claw Machines
There are many modern crane claw machines at the front of the venue and also dotted around the venue as well. They have Toy Box Catcher machines for pint-sized players and also Win Fall Revolution with a great range of branded plush toys keychains including Lilo & Stitch. There are also Block Stackers where you can win plush prizes and Find a Key golden egg and ticket grabbers where you can win up to 500 tickets!
The larger claw machines also had a nice range of Disney teddy bears to win including Spiderman, Winnie the Pooh and other favourite characters.
Classic Arcade Games
Electric Avenue arcade has no shortage of classic arcade machines and fans of retro arcade machines will be happy to find two large Outrun arcade racing machines, Deal or No Deal Quiz, Air Hockey Tables and even an amazon-themed arcade shooting gallery. A Konami Dance Stage Euromix dance machine is also here for one or two players. If you prefer being the musician then the two player Guitar Hero arcade game might be more up your street.
There is also a wide range of more modern arcade racing machines, and these include two player Mario Kart DX, Cruise-n-Blast, Air Strike and a Moto Blitz DX motorcycle arcade game.
Fairground Games
Electric Avenue arcade has a great focus on ticket redemption arcade games and there is a wide range of ticket paying fairground games. For visitors that enjoy aiming, throwing and shooting style challenges there are many different ways to hit the target.
Machines include Ice Ball skee ball, two player Milk Jug Toss, Down the Clown and Hyper Pitch, Pixel Chase and Ticket Champ. Sports games include To The Net, NBA and Sonic the Hedgehog basketball throwing machines.
For fans of two pence machines there are roll-down machines including Shiver Me Tickets, where you roll your two pence to win tickets if you get in in the slot.
