Grays Amusements Arcade Sheringham

Grays Amusements appears to now be part of the other longstanding amusement arcade in Sheringham – Carousel Amusements. Both venues now have Carousel Amusements signage. This content shall be further updated once we have substantiated the correct information. 

Grays Arcade is deliciously located between two ice cream parlours on the Sheringham High Street. It sit's opposite the local Grey Seal Coffee and the popular Lobster Pub. 

It seems like Carousel Amusements is more focused on casino slots machines and classic arcade, while Gray’s (Carousel 2) has gone all out in ticket arcade games and modern coin pushers. For this reason, this location might be better suited for families with younger children, though don't miss out on giving both venues a look.

Arcade Entrance

Although there was scaffolding erected when we visited, there are three wide entrances on the front of the building to welcome players and passers-by. There are a couple of young kiddies rides near the front doors to help entice the youngest of players to enjoy a ride that also makes for a great photo opportunity. 

Coin Pushers

Grays (Carousel 2) Amusements has a great range of both modern and traditional coin pushers. Traditional examples including a Crompton’s Carousel coin flipper and also a lovely single player Alice’s Wonderland, which is a visual treat for any arcade fan.

Modern coin pusher examples include a Sweet Falls, and the aptly named ‘Carousel’, both with ticket prizes. There is also a Temple of Tickets and Aladdin that have upper feature boards that allow players to win large ticket prizes as they make their way around the prize Board. 

Crane Claw Machines

There is a row of E-Claw machines in here with some quality plush toy prizes including Mario and Hello Kitty Characters. There are also some Chupa Chups crane machines where you can win up to 4 lollies on each go. They also have a Rocket Launch and Tickety Boo claw grabber, where players can win reels of tickets. 

Classic Arcade Games 

Arcade racing machine fans will be interested to play on the Nitro Speed four player game, which combines the classic feel of an arcade racing game with the excitement of winning tickets. There is also a Wild West Shoot Out game where two players can test their accuracy and win great ticket prizes.

Fairground Ticket Arcade Machines

This Sheringham arcade really has a great range of fairground arcade games and these include Allstars Basketball and a Bowling Champ game, both paying out ticket wins. There is a classic two pence roll-down machine called Ticket Raider, where players can win ticket prizes by hitting the targets.

Wheel Spinner Ticket Games

Players who like to spin-a-win will be happy to play on the Big Bass Wheel Spinner and also the Spin Me Wheel games, where patrons can win huge ticket prizes with one lucky spin. 

For those with smaller children, this venue provides an excellent range of modern ticket arcade games that are half-sized for pint-sized players. Venue Verdict

Grays (Carousel 2) is a fantastic entertainment venue, perfect for families with younger children. They have great range of modern ticket arcade machines and games that will keep active minds occupied for many hours. 

There is also a large change kiosk and prize window at the rear of the venue with a huge range of prizes including toys, keychains, plush teddies, sweets and lollies and many more items that players will love.
