Treasure Island Amusements Arcade Bridlington

Treasure Island Amusements is located on the busy pedestrianised Esplanade in the heart of Bridlington's seafront tourist area. The lower promenade along Royal Princes Parade provides a scenic route from North Beach around to the harbour, while the Esplanade forms the upper level of this bustling visitor zone, lined with bars, restaurants and entertainment venues.

Either side of Treasure Island Amusements are a pirate-themed ice cream parlour and snack bar. Next door, towards the Forum, the theme continues with the Treasure Island Pirate Ghost Walk and Crazy Golf in a distinctive ship-shaped building. The arcade itself has three large, step-free entrances, providing plenty of space and making the venue wheelchair accessible.

Kids Arcade Games

Outside the venue are a selection of fun kiddie rides including a red bus, Peppa Pig and a fun ice cream truck called My Scoop Bus. Further in are many more games suitable for small children including mini claw machines, Chupa Chups lolly cranes and fun shooters like Pirates Hook. At the rear of the venue is a Mini Bowling area with seating for families looking to have a fun game of bowling with the smaller size bowling balls.

Claw Machines

This venue offers an exciting range of claw machines at Treasure Island Amusements, with a fantastic variety of games to explore. The line-up ranges from Skill Cut Winner and Toy Box Catcher to the fast-paced WinFall Revolution, alongside timeless favourites such as the Elaut Ex1 and E-Claw grabbers. The quality of the plush prizes here is high, with branded teddies including Mario, The Simpsons, Jellycat and BBC Earth characters. With such a varied selection, there are plenty of different ways to try and grab a prize.

Coin Pushers

There is a good selection of coin pushers here, packed with fun shelf prizes, with most also offering ticket wins. Modern 2p machines include Looney Tunes, Deal or No Deal, Caterpillar and Sweet Falls. There are plenty of 2p change machines and coin tubs throughout the arcade, making it easy to keep the games going for uninterrupted play. There are also classic Snakes-n-Ladders and Merry-Go-Round pushers for that classic seaside arcade vibe.

They also have a fun selection of modern closed-loop coin pushers, including the ever-popular Tornado and Neon Tower stackers, along with a row of Pearl Fisheries ball pushers.

Classic Arcade Games

The standout classic seaside attraction here is the incredible 18-player Grand National horse derby game. These large installations are becoming increasingly rare in British amusement arcades, making this a real seaside gem and well worth experiencing. Families and friends can go head-to-head, rolling balls into targets to help their mechanical horses and riders charge towards the finish and win the Grand National. With a compere usually adding to the excitement and a huge selection of prizes up for grabs, this is the kind of larger-than-life attraction that captures the magic of traditional seaside attractions in arcades. We visited in the morning, so it wasn’t open yet, though no doubt it sees plenty of action as the day gets busier.

There are also some fun classic arcade games to enjoy at Treasure Island Amusements, including an AirFX air hockey table and several arcade racing games. Highlights include two-player Sega Rally and SuperBikes, giving visitors the chance to go head-to-head on the track.

Around the entrance, several fun attractions catch the eye, including a one-punch boxing machine and a brightly coloured Zoltar Speaks fortune teller machine. There is also the popular Sega Shoot-it Win-it, where players can put their aim to the test for a chance to instantly win prizes, while StepManiaX provides a lively dance machine that is particularly well suited to teenage visitors looking to burn off some energy.

Ticket Arcade Games

Treasure Island Amusements has a strong focus on ticket arcade games, with a wide selection of machines and a dedicated prize shop kiosk offering a great range of rewards that can be redeemed with tickets.

Fairground Games

The selection includes plenty of fun fairground-inspired ticket games, including Down the Clown, Milk Jug Toss, All In and Ice Ball Skee-Ball. There is also Power Roll, plus two colourful Game-On basketball machines that are particularly eye-catching. Fans of wheel-based games can try the Monopoly Go wheel spinner, while the popular Fishbowl Frenzy adds another fun way to win tickets.

Ticket Slots

Close to the Bowlingo at the rear of the venue are two triple-row ticket slot machines, Temple of Tickets and Dracula. Players can win up to 500 tickets from the upper feature board, adding another way to build up a ticket prize haul.

There are a couple of standalone fruit machines dotted around the venue, including the low-boy Alice’s Wonderland and Kings & Queens. There is also a row of skill ball machines, including Zingy and Skill Ball Deluxe, offering another way to play for prizes.

We love pirate-themed attractions, and Treasure Island Amusements captures that spirit with a fun atmosphere and an excellent mix of games for all ages. Whether playing with the family, hunting for tickets or simply enjoying the colourful surroundings, there is plenty to keep everyone entertained. With plenty of snacks and treats available nearby, it also makes a great stop before or after lunch or dinner.
