Bibbys Amusement Arcade Mablethorpe

Bibbys Amusements is one of the leading entertainment venues on the High Street in Mablethorpe. Located just a stone’s throw from the main beach entrance, the arcade occupies a wide frontage opposite The Mirage and sits alongside the popular Mablethorpe Rock, a classic seaside stick-of-rock shop.

The venue features a large adult slots lounge on the left-hand side, while the right-hand side houses the colourful ‘Scoops’ ice cream shop, which also offers booth seating inside the venue overlooking the arcade. Fans of Costa Coffee will also be pleased to find it available on-site.

Arcade Entrance

The casino slots area has its own dedicated entrance onto the High Street, with several Maxx Grab claw machines positioned along the pavement to attract passers-by. With multiple other entrances, the frontage is also promoted by A-boards advertising ice cream, doughnuts, and an on-site ATM.

All entrances are level, making the venue wheelchair-friendly and suitable for mobility scooters. Inside, a foyer area features several larger arcade machines, which transition into rows of coin pushers leading towards the rear of the venue, where the prize shop is located.

Children’s Arcade Games

There are several kiddie rides, including a two-rider horse and kart, a Peppa Pig spaceship, and a Minions Ferris Wheel. The venue also features the four-player Hungry Hungry Hippos children’s game, a life-sized version of the classic board game that pays out ticket wins.

Claw Machines

In addition to the Maxx Grab claw machines positioned outside, there are a couple more located inside the venue, alongside a wide selection of other claw games. These include a row of E-Claw machines offering branded plush prizes such as Disney characters and Labubu plush dolls.

The arcade also features Skill Cut Winner machines, where players must cut a string to win a large plush prize, along with ‘Prize Every Time’ grabber games. Younger visitors can enjoy the four-player Toy Box crane machines and a Lolly Shop crane, ideal for those with a sweet tooth.

We also spotted an Electrocoin Twin Star machine offering mini plush prizes, as well as a Pokémon-branded claw machine filled with original Pokémon teddies.

Coin Pushers

Bibbys Arcade offers a strong selection of coin pushers, all of which are modern ticket-redemption machines, except a single classic Electrocoin Bar-X pusher. This machine stands as a nod to Electrocoin’s craftsmanship throughout the golden era of arcades and beyond.

The modern coin pusher lineup features multiple examples of several popular machines, such as Sweet Falls, Pac-Man, Bingo Tickets and Space Invaders. All machines are generously stocked with shelf prizes, including mini plush keychains, sweets and lollies, and small ornaments. For added convenience, several modern change machines are positioned between the pushers for uninterrupted gaming.

Classic Arcade Games

In the foyer area, visitors will find a fun selection of classic arcade games, including a one-punch boxing machine and World Football Pro, which is fun a penalty shootout game. Near the entrance, a classic Dance Dance Revolution arcade machine stands, allowing players to enjoy a cool breeze while they play. The venue also features a two-player Mario Kart DX arcade racing game.

Dinosaur Era is a four-player water shooting game, where children can win tickets by shooting dinosaurs! Toward the rear of the venue, more classic arcade machines can be found, including an air hockey table, Nerf Arcade and dual ‘To the Net’ basketball arcade games.

Fairground Games

There are several fairground-style games on offer, including SEGA’s Magic Arrow, where players shoot real targets to win instant prizes. The ever-colourful Fireball game from Coastal Amusements, along with Connect Four Hoops, which combines the fun of a classic basketball shoot-out with the mental challenge of Connect Four.

The venue also features a two-player Lane Master bowling game and a Monopoly Go Car arcade game for younger players. 

Wheel Spinners

We spotted two fun wheel spinners at this amusements venue, and these are Wheel of Fortune, which is just like the TV show and also a Monopoly Go spinner, where players can win a ticket bonus of up-to 1500 tickets!

VR Machines

Bibby’s Amusements Arcade has a triple-screen Fast Lane VR racing simulator game offering real immersive gameplay. There is also a three-player Green Dragon VR array, where players can use the jukebox-style touchscreen to select a range of fully immersive entertainment experiences.

Ticket Slot Machines

There are several triple-row ticket slot machines at this venue, and these include Freddie, Temple of Tickets and Ticket Raider.

Having a decadent range of ice creams inside an amusements venue is both clever and impressive, and the décor in the ice cream parlour gives visitors the feeling that they have stepped into a Beach Boys movie. The slots lounge and strong selection of Cat D fruit machines are ideal for reel gaming fans, ensuring something exciting exists for all age groups.
