Planet Fun Amusement Arcade Ingoldmells

At the heart of the Ingoldmells tourist area, visitors can find the Planet Fun Arcade. It is the largest indoor entertainment venue on Sea Lane, boasting two floors of arcade gaming machines. Next door is a convenient undercover car park on one side, and a small café terrace on the other, overlooking the bustling Sea Lane/Roman Bank crossing.

Inside, visitors can enjoy an eight-lane Bowlingo alley, an adult slots lounge, a fully stocked café, an Orbitors area (similar to bumper cars), and a ticket prize shop. The real highlight, however, is the extensive collection of arcade machines, ranging from classic favourites to the very latest ticket redemption games.

Arcade Entrance

Located at the corner of the crossroads, this two-floor venue offers multiple entrances, including several flat, wheelchair-friendly access points on Sea Lane, with claw and boxing machines positioned outside to attract passers-by. At the crossing, a vaulted entrance offers a clear view of both gaming floors, with both broad stairs and two escalators providing access between the upper and lower levels.

Children’s Arcade Games

There’s a great selection of kiddie rides both on the ground floor near the Sea Lane entrances and upstairs by the Orbitors arena. Highlights include mini teacups, a rocket ship, a four-player Hungry Hippos game, ride-on horses, a mini carousel, an A-Team van, motorbikes and pirate ships. On one side of the Orbitors arena, younger children can also enjoy a mini motorbike track. The upper floor also features several other game types suitable for pint-sized players, such as a mini whack-a-mole game and other ticket redemption machines, so be sure to check out both levels.

Claw Machines

Planet Fun Amusements has a wide range of different claw machines available to play with most being packed full of great prizes. They have branded plush prizes on offer including Lilo & Stitch, Mario and Disney characters including Cats and Pluto. There are also TY beanie babies, sweets, chocolate bars, and other great prizes to be won from multiple claw grabbers. 

Claw machines include Maxx Grab, Eye Catcher, Ticket Dome, ‘Prize Every Time’ games, ‘Find a Key’, Magic Claw, Toy Box, Winfall Revolution spinners and ‘The Big One’, where jumbo plush prizes can be won. They also have the popular Key Master game and a classic Sweetland Premia and other grabbers offering chocolates as prizes.

Coin Pushers

This arcade venue has a huge range of different coin pushers from the latest closed-loop machines to classic seaside pushers and penny falls. Classic coin pushers include Electrocoin’s Bar-X and Super Bar-X, Lucky Seven’s, Crompton’s Prize Falls and several Carousel coin flippas.

Planet Fun really is fun if you like classic arcade gaming! There is a wide range of different machines to suit all players and tastes. There are several arcade dance machines to choose from, as well as pool tables upstairs and downstairs. Air hockey tables can be all over even mini tables for young children, and a full-sized Pac-Man Smash table for multi-puck fun!

Fans of arcade racing games can discover the classic Outrun with motion simulator, Fast & Furious Tokyo Drift, Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 and the latest Fast & Furious four-screen arcade motion game.

There is also a great range of arcade shooting games, and these include the classic Time Crisis 4, Big Buck Hunter, Aliens Extermination, Terminator Salvation, Jurassic Park Arcade, Ghost Squad, Walking Dead Arcade, and the rarely seen Qube shooting simulator. 

Fairground Games

Planet Fun Amusements has an extensive prize shop located at the rear of the upper floor. Here, players can redeem their fairground game tickets for a great range of fun prizes. There are many fairground games that pay out winning tickets, including several basketball arcade games such as Sonic All-Stars and Pac-Man Basket. 

They also have a row of Pac-Man Roller Skee Ball games, Space Guard and Funtime Hoopla by Sega. There are several Down the Clown type machines to play and even a giant Connect Four Hoops. A rare and unique redemption game available to play is called SpaceBallz, which can be found on the upper floor. There is also a Redzone Rush, which is an American football game offering a jackpot of 5000 tickets!

Wheel Spinners

Planet Fun in Ingoldmells has a great range of wheel spinners that pay out big ticket prizes. These include Crank It, Big Win Super Spin, Red Hot Xtreme Sevens and the rarely seen All Aboard, which is a children’s wheel spinner that features a very cool Thomas Tank Engine-style design. 

VR Machines

There are several VR options available at Planet Fun and these include a three-screen racing simulator, which occupies the foyer area next to the road crossing. There are several Green Dragon simulator arrays with the jukebox-style selection screen and the large, fully-immersive VR Agent shooter game. They also have a Typhoon Simulator game. 

Ticket Slot Machines

Upstairs, visitors can find a fun range of ticket slot machines, including Adders & Ladders, Aladdin, Freddie and Pieces of Eight. 

£5 Jackpot Fruit Machines

Fans of Cat D £5 jackpot fruit machines will love this arcade venue, as they have a fantastic range of different machines.
