Vegas Amusements Arcade Hunstanton

Vegas Amusements is a spacious arcade located on South Beach Road, just a short distance from the Golden Sands Arcade. Nestled in the heart of Hunstanton’s cabin and caravan holiday area, the venue provides year-round entertainment for holidaying families and locals alike. Positioned near the Seagate West Car Park and within easy reach of the beach, Vegas Amusements benefits from a high-traffic, family-friendly location that is close to the Rainbow Park Fun Fair. With a wide range of attractions, the venue complements the surrounding area to create a lively hub of fun close to the south beach promenade.

Arcade Entrance

The Vegas Amusements Arcade is a vast and impressive venue with three large entrances that welcome visitors with on-road parking directly outside. Neighboured by Vegas Fish Bar on one side and Tilly’s Ice Cream and Doughnuts on the other, this is the perfect place to congregate after a beach walk, as there are several picnic tables running across the frontage of all three venues. From the pavement, the whole area is flat, meaning that the arcade is mobility scooter and wheelchair friendly.

Children’s Arcade Games

In the forecourt area, there are several young kiddie rides including Bob the Builder, Thomas the Tank Engine and a Spiderman Helicopter. Much like the Golden Sands Arcade, Vegas Amusements also has a kiddies racetrack, perfect for budding drivers to learn to ride in a secure environment. There are also several claw machines outside the front of the venue to help tempt passers-by to wander in.  

Claw Machines

Inside the venue, patrons can find various different claw machines ranging from classic Elaut machines to modern Winfall Revolution. They have Ticket Dome crane machines and ‘Find a Key’ golden egg games. There is also the popular ‘Over the Edge’ machine and a row of Maxx Grab claw games at the rear of the venue. Plush prizes include a great range of branded teddies, including Steven the Seagull, Lilo & Stitch and Sonic characters. At four plays for a pound, they offer inexpensive fun with the chance to win a quality prize. 

Coin Pushers

The Vegas arcade has a wide range of coin pushers available to play, and they are jam-packed with fun shelf prizes. Classic circular coin pushers include Rollercoaster, Snakes & Ladders, Hippodrome and Around the World. They also have the fun ‘Pots of Gold’ Harry Potter style pusher and Star Trek. 

Rectangular coin pushers include ‘It’s a Cracker’, Snakes and Ladders, and the nostalgic Highwire. All the pushers in the venue were very generous, and although they did not pay out ticket wins there are plenty of great prizes to win off the coin shelf.

Fans of the latest closed-loop coin pushers will love the two-player Ocean Party game, which is a visually stunning ball-pusher that mesmerises players and pays out ticket wins. 

Classic Arcade Games

Vegas Amusements has many classic arcade machines and some fun and rare retro machines. They have Adders & Ladders, Snakes & Ladders, Jam Session and Back of the Net two-pence roll-down machines. There is a classic LAI Block Stacker and two air hockey tables. Arcade racing game fans will love the two-player Fast and the Furious machine, and there is also a Crazy Typhoon for winning tickets. They also have arcade shooting games including Zombie Outbreak and the classic two-player Rambo game with the big guns.

A special mention needs to be made for the fantastic and rare Track & Field, which is a type of roll-down game with a spinning circular platform, where players need to evade coins falling down the holes and instead line them up with the player icons to win ticket prizes. This game is distinctively unique and incredibly addictive, providing a fine way to win more tickets if players need to increase totals.

Fairground Games

Perhaps the strongest suit of the Vegas arcade is the great range of fairground games on offer. Sports fans can enjoy basketball arcade machines including ‘To Tha Net’ for adults and Slam-n-Jam for pint-sized players. They also have a two-player Lane Master bowling game and a Monster Drop-style game. Shooting and aiming fans will love Down the Clown, Snowman Challenge and Space Guard, which let players with skill smash high scores, and there is also a two-player Wild West Shootout, for fans of quick-draw action.

Big Arcade Machines

Go big or go home! The Vegas venue is home to some big arcade machines including Firewall and Fireball! There is also an interesting ticket arcade game called Fruit Mania.

Keen eyes will spot the quad-row sit-down Ticket Raider ticket slot array tucked away in the corner, and also the lovely standalone arch-top Dracula ticket slot machine.

At the right side of the venue, just outside the adult gaming area is where most of the £5 jackpot fruit machines can be found. A spacious venue with a well-balanced range of arcade games suitable for the entire family. The coin pushers pay out generously with prizes, and the arcade machines pay out plenty of tickets that can be exchanged at the large prizes shop that has a great range of fantastic prizes. With some of the latest arcade machines nestled between rare and classic examples of seaside nostalgia, this entertainment venue comes highly recommended and is a great place to spend time with family and friends.
