Lucky Strike Amusement Arcade Skegness

Lucky Strike Amusement Arcade is conveniently located at the town end of Grand Parade, close to the Jubilee Clock Tower and main tourist pedestrian area and parking. Located next door to the Trawlers Catch fish and chips restaurant, this arcade is set over three floors, boasting a stunning art deco façade that stands tall like a retro cinema from a bygone era. 

Arcade Entrance

Out the front of the arcade is a selection of grabber claw machines and lots of signage displaying all of the different amenities that Lucky Strike has to offer. They have amusements, mini bowling, cafes, kids soft play area, kids orbiter bumper cars, pool tables and several other food and drinks kiosks.

There are front facing cafes on both of the upper floors with balconies and floor to ceiling windows, which offer incredible sea views over Skegness beach. 

With a wide pedestrian frontage, all entrances open up into the large open plan area except for the very left-hand doors, which are for the casino slots lounge, which runs along the left-hand side of the complex. 

In the central foyer area, there are stairs and escalators to easily get around the venue and there are many young kiddie rides positioned at the front for youngsters to enjoy. 

Upper Floors

The first floor is home to a lovely café area with a balcony overlooking the Grand Parade. There are also pool tables, air hockey and a range of other large arcade games. To the rear is a collection of arcade racing machines and also a track dedicated to Orbiter Dodgems cars at £2 per play. 

The second floor has another large café area and caters for younger children with a kid’s soft play area and a young kiddie racing track, with toilets to the rear. Here players will also find the prize shop with a long row of floor to ceiling windows displaying prizes from sweets and toys to keychains and gadgets. There really is something here for the whole family. 

Ground Floor Arcade

On the ground floor, the open plan amusements wraps around the central staircase with a wide range of different game types and attractions. There are a couple of change kiosks and many change machines making it easy to get change for 2p pushers.

At the rear of the ground floor is a raised area and here visitors can find a large café, toilets and a six lane bowlingo alley. There is a large amount of comfortable seating up here, which makes it a perfect spot for lunch. 

Coin Pushers 

Lucky Strike has a huge range of both modern and classic coin pushers with nearly all offering ticket prizes. There are so many different types to playwith plenty of different coin shelf prizes to explore.

Some of the modern coin pushers also have full upper feature board play and these include Haunted House, Let’s Go Bingo, Space Invaders and Monopoly Gold.

There are also a wide range of modern coin pushers that have 'three reels' or 'wheel spinner' features where players can win great ticket prizes. These include Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, Sweet Falls, Deal or No Deal, Rock ‘n’ Reels, Scooby Doo, Busy Bees, Lady Bug, Simpsons Donut Daze, Minions and many more!

Crane Claw Machines 

The Lucky Strike arcade has nice range of claw machines at the front of the venue including E-Claw, Maxx Grab and Toy Cubes. There are also classic EX-1 claw machines dotted around the inside of the venue with four being found in the café at the rear of the ground floor. Players have a very real chance of winning on these machines and can win a great range of branded plush toys and teddies including Hello Kitty, Ratatouille, Mickey Mouse, Lilo & Stitch, Winnie the Pooh, Sonic the Hedgehog and many more great prizes. 

There are also many other exciting claw machines dotted around the arcade venue including 'Find a Key' gold egg mystery prize and Magic Claw / Win Fall Revolution grabbers in the main lobby area. Classic Arcade Games 

Fans of classic and retro arcade machines are in for a real treat and will find many exciting options to the rear of the first floor near the pool table area. Here there is a selection of timeless arcade racing machines including several air hockey tables, a four-player row of Mario Kart DX, large Outrun and Sega Rally cars which players can sit in, two dance machines and several motorbike racing machines. 

On the ground floor there is also a very impressive Fast & Furious arcade racing game with four screens for a fully immersive experience. There is also a Pac-Man Smash air hockey table.

Fairground Games

This amusement arcade has a great selection of ticket fairground games, where players can win great ticket prizes. On the ground floor fans of aiming will love the triple row of skee-ball Iceball arcade machines, where players have to roll the balls into the targets to attain big scores. 

If aiming and hitting targets for ticket prizes is your thing, then why not check out the Demolition King game where you have to swing the weighted ball at the targets. There is also a three-player Dinosaur Era game where players can face-off with friends and shoot dinosaurs for tickets.

Big Ticket Arcade Machines

One of the strong points of Lucky Strike is its fantastic range of larger ticket arcade games. There are many different types here with different objectives. For fans of coin stacker or Pachinko games check out Ticket Circus, Tornado, DC Superheroes, Spiderman Super Bonus. There are rows of Pearl Fishery machines and Avengers Super Bonus and the SpongeBob SquarePants Pirates of Bikini Bottom game. 

Players who want to go super-sized will love the Connect Four Hoops basketball game, where you have to hit basketball targets and also the large classic Connect Four where you can win tickets for beating the game. There are also several Monster Drop and Power Drop machines dotted around the venue for an exciting twist on the classic grabber machines. 

Wheel Spinner Arcade Games

This entertainment venue has a nice selection of wheel spinner games where players can win tickets on Wheel of Fortune, Big Win Super Spin and Monopoly Roll-n-Go. There is also a Pop the Lock game where you have to stop the flashing lights in the correct places to win ticket prizes. 

Ticket Slot Machines

Casino Slots Lounge

The adult casino slots lounge is large and has a nice range of different machines where players can win prizes from £25 all the way up to £500 jackpots. Most of the machines are £100 jackpot machines with fan favourite games such as Eye of Horus, King Kong Cash and Fishin Frenzy all available to play here. The cabinets are modern and some of them even have built-in wireless phone chargers so you can play the games for longer without having to worry about running out of battery. Venue Verdict

A large spacious complex with cafes and toilets on every floor makes this a highly convenient all-in-one venue to spend a day winning tickets, coins and prizes. 

Modern coin pushers with tickets prizes are always a welcome treat for the whole family. A good range of ticket arcade games and mechanical fruit machines is also good for those with pre-2000’s nostalgia.
