Circus Circus arcade is centrally located in Great Yarmouth on Marine Parade opposite the beach-front Castaway miniature Golf course. The arcade sits between two other venues The Flamingo on one side and the Golden Nugget on the other.

All three venues are great individually, though they have a secret power. Internally all three amusements are joined together inside. Patrons can wander freely between them all and ticket redemption wins can be gained in all three arcade and redeemed at the central prize shop / ticket window, which is located in Circus Circus.

We have separate listings for The Flamingo Arcade and the Golden Nugget Arcade as there is so much to cover in each separate venue. It is best to think of all three as a giant venue, with the playability to rival other largescale amusement arcades on Great Yarmouth Seafront.  

Arcade Approach

At the front of this venue, one can find rows of claw machines acting like windbreaks with multiple entry points in-between. There are young kiddies rides placed out front to draw families into the venue and also a fizzy drinks vending machine.

Upon entering Circus Circus patrons can see that they have a great range of modern coin pushers and ticket arcade games.  At the rear of the venue is the Prize Shop (with demarcated queue line for when it gets busy). They have a huge selection of prizes here. To the left of this is a double door-size entranceway to The Flamingo. 

On the opposite side of the venue is an adult gaming section at the rear. This marks the start of the Golden Nugget Arcade as one may not know they have already drifted into the next arcade with it being open plan.

Coin Pushers

There is a wide range of coin pushers available to play including modern machines which pay out wins in tickets. The coins fall generously here and there is also a great range of shelf prizes including sweets, keychains and toys.

Ticket coin pushers include Lady Bug, Tom and Jerry, Space Invaders, Ice cream and Star Wars. They also have some smaller circular pushes including Avengers and Around the World. 

Classic Arcade Games

There are some great classic arcade games nested in this arcade, though one has to have a keen eye or they might be missed. These include an Electric Shock chair, Walking Dead arcade machine and a Pac-Man Smash air hockey table. There is also a Minecraft Dungeons arcade and 2-player Race Craft racing game at the rear. 

Perhaps the star of the show in the middle of this arcade is a 2-player VR Agent machine which is massive and designed for patrons to experience virtual reality with a gun and headset that players wear and also a screen so spectators can watch the action too!

Fairground Games

Circus Circus arcade has a really fun range of fairground style arcade machines where throwing, aiming and an element of skill is required to win tickets. There include Gold Fishin, Pixel Chase, Lane Master, and Down the Clown. There is also a Big Bass Bonanza Wheel spinner machine and a Ring Champ machine, where players have to throw the ball through the small rings to win ticket prizes.

Big Ticket Arcade Games

If sitting down is more your style then fear not, this amusement has a wide range of big fun games to win tickets on. They have 3 Pearl Fisheries ball pusher machines a Dinosaur Era 4-player machine and even a Space Invaders Frenzy! There is also a Pac-Man Swirl where you can win 500 tickets and also the acclaimed Firewall.

Claw Machines

At the front of the Circus Circus arcade are twelve crane claw machines, each with different plush toys and teddies to be won. They have a great selection of branded prizes including Steven Seagull, Peperami Animal and Lion King characters.

They also have a 4 player Gaming Cube for pint-size players to play. These are great for smaller children as they can see into the cube from all sides, making it easier to play. 

There are many other claw grabbers dotted around the venue including a Skill Cut Winner, where you can win a giant ape and also a block Stacker, where you can win plush toys by correctly stacking all the blocks. 

Ticket Slot Machines

With most of the adult gaming machines being house in the casino area at the rear of Golden Nugget Arcade, it was nice to see that they had two triple-row ticket slot machines in Circus Circus. These are Cops and Robbers and Emoji, where at 10 pence per play, one can win a jackpot of 500 and 800 tickets respectively.

£5 Jackpot Fruit Machines

Sadly there are no traditional £5 jackpot fruit machines left in any of the three amusement arcades. They did have some back in the day, though these seem to have been replaced over the years. Though, this is certainly made up for with the wide range available in their adult casino gaming section. 

Casino Slots Area

Technically speaking, the adult casino slots lounge is in the Golden Nugget, but one could easily classify it as Circus Circus. For this reason we have included it in our ‘venue verdict’ because it is large, fully stocked and a great place for adults to enjoy gaming. 

Inside they have a splendid selection of both digital terminals and traditional mechanical fruit machines. With jackpots up-to £500 it is always bustling with players eager to hit a jackpot.

Venue Verdict

Individually, Circus Circus Arcade is a top venue with quality games and machines for hours of family fun. Collectively, The Flamingo, Circus Circus and Golden Nugget make up one of the largest and best venues on the Great Yarmouth seafront with a huge selection of the latest games, ticket prizes and coin pushes that will provide hours of family fun and enjoyment. 

A perfect place to escape the midday sun or to spend an afternoon of fun out of the rain. Opening day and night during high and low season, Circus Circus (& co) are an essential part of any day trip or vacation to the Great Yarmouth beach front.
