The Oasis Arcade is located centrally within the Hemsby tourist area at the intersection of Beach Road and St Thomas Road. Outside there is a large forecourt area with undercover seating, benches and a small children’s bumper cars track.

Arcade Entrance

As part of the arcade building, there is a large L-shaped food kiosk, which stretches from Beach Road round onto the forecourt. Here visitors can find many of the classic seafront staples including ice cream, hot and cold drinks, fish and chips, burgers, bacon rolls and slushies for hot days. 

There are two smaller entrances at each end of the venue, though the main entrance is via the forecourt, which has several open plan entranceways. With everything being on the ground floor, the access is good for wheelchairs and mobility scooters and pets are welcome. 

At the front entrance there is a colourful range of young kiddie rides, which offer safe fun for younger children. Entering the main arcade from the forecourt, visitors will find a large open arcade gaming venue with a huge range of different styles of machine and games.

The Oasis appears to be heavily focused on ticket arcade games and there is a wide range of ways that patrons can win big bundles of tickets. 

Arcade Prize Bingo

The Oasis Arcade once featured an arcade prize bingo area behind the food kiosks, offering a classic touch of seaside gaming. However, it has since been replaced with modern ticket redemption machines. As a tribute to its past, a single prize bingo machine remains on display at the entrance, a nod to the golden days of arcade prize bingo.

Coin Pushers

In both the main arcade and the side area there is a huge range of modern and classic coin pushers. The modern coin pusher machines have upper feature boards and print out ticket wins as a 'one big ticket' which helps cut down on waste, makes it easier to carry while playing, though does have slightly less impact than winning a huge reel of tickets.

Modern coin pushers include Pharaohs Golden Ticket, Aladdin, and Let’s Go Bingo! Which allows players to play a bingo card game on the upper screen and enjoy big ticket wins from the bingo mini game. 

Some of the Aladdin coin pushers operate a modern 'closed loop' system where players pay for credits and don’t interact with the coins (no 2p coins needed) with the machine uses internal silver tokens. Wins are then tallied and paid out on 'one big ticket' for convenience. The future of coin pushers is here!

Players can also find classic circular and rectangle coin pushers dotted about including Tom and Jerry, Sweet Falls, Snakes & Ladders, Jurassic Park, Looney Tunes and Minions themed machines.

It's clear that The Oasis Amusements is very generous with shelf prizes too, with a huge range of different prizes to be won including tickets, sweets and lollies and teddies and toys. There really is something here for everyone. 

Classic Arcade Games

Alongside the modern machines in this arcade there are also some classic machines dotted around the venue. They have Typhoon 2p Spinner, an air hockey table and two-player arcade racing machines in the form of Moto Blitz DX motorbike racing machine. 

Fairground Ticket Games

The Oasis Arcade has a great range of larger fairground games offering ticket prizes. These include aiming and shooting games, including Monopoly Roll-n-Go, Dream-shooter, Coconut Shy, Down the Clown and Shark Park. 

They also have a huge Space Invaders arcade shooter machine and children's four-player Hungry Hungry Hippos. At the rear of the venue are Ice Ball and Lane Master skee-ball style ticket machines. There is also some Temple of Tickets 2p roll-down machines in the corner for a fun way to win tickets.

Big Ticket Arcade Machines

This venue has a two-player Fireball machine at the front of the venue and a row of three Pearl Fishery machines near the prize shop.

At the very back of the venue is a row of three eye-catching machines. These are Tower Island and Tornado coin tower / stacker machines and also an Ocean Party ball pusher machine. These are flanked by a six-player Rainbow Riches horse racing machine. 

Crane Claw Machines

Facing the forecourt is an impressive row of nine Happy Days claw machines filled with great plush prizes including Hello Kitty teddies, Steven the Seagull and Spiderman Masks!

Dotted around the venue are many more grabber machines and also some half-size Toybox grabbers, which are perfect for smaller children to play. 

Ticket Slot Machines

The Mirage also has a great range of ticket slot machines near the prize shop and they include standalone Puffy Billy and Tickety Boo slot machines at just 2p per play. There are also several triple row ticket slots including an Aladdin, Ticket Raider and Temple of Tickets.

There is also a kids Monopoly Free Parking machine, where players sit in a car and whizz round the monopoly board. This pays out random ticket wins and though isn’t strictly a slot machine it does have a board like the Monopoly machines of old so certainly worth a mention!

Ticket slots are great to play, whilst supervising youngsters to help them bump up their ticket totals at the same time! 

£5 Jackpot Fruit Machines

At the St Thomas Road entrance there are two standalone low-boy £5 jackpot fruit machines. These are Super Tuppenny (each-way) Nudger and Juicy Fruits from Reflex gaming.  

Dotted around the venue are several other £5 jackpot triple slot machines including a Party Time, Bullion Bars, House of Fortune and Rainbow Riches (orange), all with upper feature boards.

Visitors can also enjoy a Skill Ball Deluxe machine with £50 jackpot. 

Casino Slots Lounge

The adult casino slots lounge is on the rear corner of the venue, has a single entrance and is closed off to children. In the slots lounge players can find a huge range of the latest digital gaming terminals from leading brands such as Blueprint and Light & Wonder.
