The Mirage Amusements Arcade Hemsby

The Mirage Amusement Arcade is one of the big four arcades occupying the central tourist area in Hemsby. It is located between entrances to the dodgem bumper cars and the Fun Park. On the left-hand side of the venue are a range of different food kiosks serving delicious seaside staples including ice cream and Belgian Waffles and on the right-hand side is the Hollywood Diner that serves a great range of American style fast-food including cheeseburgers and ribs.

Arcade Excitement

The frontage of The Mirage Arcade is open plan and lined with rows of crane claw grabbers. There are some well-positioned young kiddie rides at each end and a boxing punch machine. 

At some point, this venue either shared the same name and branding or was part of the same company as The Flamingo Arcade in Great Yarmouth, as evidenced by the similar signage and carpet featuring the logo.

Upon entry, visitors are greeted with an open plan amusements with a great range of different gaming machines. Put simply, the left-hand side is fruit machines, the middle is coin pushers and ticket machines, and the rear-right hand side is dedicated to casino slots. With the crane machines lining the front of the venue.

Coin Pushers

The Mirage has a great range of coin pushers spanning the whole front section of the venue and these have a nice variety of shelf prizes as well as most offering ticket prizes too. 

There are coin pushers with 10 pence and 2 pence denominations available to win and these include Snakes and Ladders, Route 66, Tom and Jerry, Clockwork Orange, Jurassic Park and Scooby Doo. There is also a large rectangle Rainbow Riches coin pusher. 

Classic Arcade Games

There is a Big Truck arcade racing game, air hockey table and also a classic Block Stacker. Next to the drinks machine is also a large screen Arcade Crossy Road machine which is incredibly addictive to play. 

Fairground Arcade Games

The right-hand side of the venue has all of the larger ticket paying fairground games. These include Fireball, Crank It, basketball arcade games and skee ball style machines and also a Temple of Tickets roll-down machine.

Crane Claw Machines

As mentioned earlier, the Mirage Arcade has a huge array of crane claw machines and these are packed full quality plushies and teddy prizes. They have Jelly Cat, Steven the Seagull, Sonic the Hedgehog, Spiderman bobble head, Minions and more. 

They also have some variations on the classic claw machines including the ever-popular 'Find a Key' gold egg game as well as a Win Fall Revolution machine.

Ticket Slot Machines

At the front of the venue are three triple row ticket slot machines. These are Pieces of Eight, Ticket (Tomb) Raider and Freddie’s (Flintstones) Vacation. These are great to play on when the young ones or family are playing on other ticket machines and want to boost the total amount of tickets for ticket prize options.

£5 Jackpot Fruit Machines

The Mirage Arcade may just have the biggest range of £5 jackpot fruit machines in the Hemsby area. There are simply too many to list. Starting from the left-side of the arcade there is Rainbow Riches (orange) triple, next to sit-down Adders & Ladders and Party Time quads. Opposite here is a row of great standalone £5 jackpot fruit machines including King Kong Cash, Family Guy, Deal or No Deal and Full of Beans by Betcom (which is a really unique machine).

Along the rear wall they have Batman Begins and Bullion Bars triples that ark round to the main change kiosk. In the next section there is a Clockwork Orange and Alices Wonderland triples and also some standalone Poker Joker video poker machines

There are even more rows of standalone machines dotted around including an Adders and Ladders fruit machine next to some Skill Ball Deluxe machines with £50 jackpots. There are also two Rainbow Riches chrome cabinet style machines at the entrance to the casino slots area.

At the very front of the Mirage venue is one of the huge Deal or No Deal Banker’s Offer sit-down quad fruit machines, which really is quite impressive. 

Casino Slots Lounge

The range of games inside the casino slots lounge is just as impressive as the Cat D fruit machine section and in the adult gaming area is a range of the latest digital terminals and gaming machines. The Mirage Arcade has an impressive range of £5 jackpot fruit machines in a world where we are finding less and less of them. There is also a great range of coin pushers, ticket machines and ticket prizes in the prize window. There really is something for everyone at The Mirage Arcade in Hemsby.
